WHAT IS PAINT CORRECTION

Paint correction is what the name suggests - the correction of marring, defects and flaws in a vehicles paint. This is done using a variety of techniques, a mix of the appropriate pads, and the correct polishes and abrasive compounds.

Paint Correction is for vehicles with notable hazing, scratches, marring, or holograms in the paint. Paint Correction is where you'll see the most noticeable improvements to your vehicle! The paint's original gloss returns, and an incredible depth is created making your vehicle look brand new!

PAINT CORRECTION IS MULTI-STAGE

Paint correction is usually broken into 3 steps - with each step representing an additional polishing pass on the vehicle. Each step taken is more aggressive and labor intensive than the last, but also removes more scratches and provides better results. There is a 'point of no return' in Paint Correction as well. This is when no more improvements can be made without potentially damaging the vehicles clear coat or paint.

It's important to understand that Paint "Correction" is actually the removal of a thin layer of a vehicle's clear coat. Doing this reduces the depth and visibility of scratches, and also uncovers the fresh, untouched layer of clear coat under the initial one. This is what causes that 'new car shine' after a fresh polish and how the paint quality improves so much afterwards!

The majority of our clients are happy with a 1-Step Correction and you will generally see a 50%-60% improvement in paint condition with it. 2-Step Corrections are available to those who want a bit more depth and gloss, and is also very common for black cars. 3-Step corrections are typically reserved for high-end show cars, collector cars, or historical vehicles that do not see many miles.

1 STEP CORRECTION

This is what the vast majority of our customer cars receive. A 1 Step Correction can reduce about 50% - 60% of defects on a vehicle, reduce hazing and oxidation, and bring back the shine you remember!

2 STEP CORRECTION

A favorite for car enthusiasts and neat freaks (no judgement, we're both). A 2 Step Correction will remove about 70%-80% of defects from your vehicle, and greatly improve the gloss and shine of your vehicle. This is a "better than it was at the dealer" type of service!

3 STEP CORRECTION

Usually reserved for show-only or investment-grade vehicles. A 3 Step Correction can remove up to 95% - 99% of defects in a vehicles paint. The results of a 3 Step will be the highest level of gloss and depth possible on a vehicle without fully re-painting it.
